Session Details
Presentations for The Mystery of the Sixty‐Five Roses are best suited for students from year five upwards, although they can be adapted, if required for a younger audience. Following a brief talk about the book process, which includes photos and images of both roughs and final pages, there is a presentation about Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation. Includes several hands‐on activities – students can do physio with a Flutter and can measure their lung function on a portable device.
Word sleuths and crosswords are available as a follow‐up activity.
Smartboard access is required.
Rates
As this presentation focuses heavily on education about Cystic Fibrosis, there is no charge, however a gold coin donation from participants to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of WA is appreciated (collection tins can be provided).
